Alba a Porto Taverna ✿ Dawn in Porto Taverna

6:00 in the morning. Porto Taverna, not far from San Teodoro, here in Sardinia.

Ho sonno.

I'm sleepy. Camping has turned into a gypsy. The tent remained in the car to rest, poor of her. Why spend money for camping when you can comfortably sleep in the car? Perhaps positioned away from a pond would have avoided the company of mosquitoes perpetually thirsty for blood. All in all though, we woke up fresh as a rose. Maybe it wasn't be the mot intoxicating perfume, but have a wash in the street still has its charm. Once we have reached the standards of hygiene, (be tramp is okay but with a touch of class), we went towards the sunrise.

E io li ho battuti tutti! D'improvviso, lei giunge.

The beach is deserted, we were alone there. The clouds envelop the island of Tavolara and loom over the sea. The darkness gradually gives way to light. The sea is calm, small waves caress the shore. My stomach would have breakfast, my body wants to rest, my eyes just want to see the rising sun which illuminates the world. We look forward to. The darkness now seems far away. Small flashes of light recline sunrise. On the horizon we can admire golden sparkles that create a descending cone enveloping the passage of a boat. Some figure begins to populate the beach. Early risers who love to run, improvides risers who want to enjoy the sunrise and then fall asleep on the deck of the bathhouse, the elderly who like to put the umbrella in the early morning. And I've beaten them all! Suddenly, she comes.

like water drops on the bottom
its impurities."

The sun emerges from the clouds. The sky is colored. The clouds dissolve. The sun's rays take up the new day and accompany him to life. We just have to go to new places with the beauty in our eye.

of a remnant of a dream and of a principle of thought."

I would recommend to anyone a similar experience in contact with the sea. If you come on holiday in Sardinia wake up early and go to the nearest beach. (east coast perfect for sunrise, west coast best for sunsets).

  1. Bravissima!!! Molto brava.
