The best of my 2012 in Sardinia

Here there are some of the most beautiful places I have visited in Sardinia in 2012 and I recommend you to visit them in the future. How can we not love a land surrounded by miles of beautiful beaches, coves, cliffs and lapped by crystal clear sea illuminated daily by a thousand shades?
In summer, the prices have become expensive but I assure you that my island is beautiful even during the low season. Come in spring (April, May) and autumn (late September, October) and you can enjoy the peace of our beautiful sea and our wild and untouched nature, especially for the fact that in those months tourists are not as many as in midsummer and the weather is mild and not muggy.

Porticciolo, located about 15 km from Alghero, is a unique place where I always like to go back when I am in Sardinia. Dominated by an ancient tower and located in the beautiful scenery of the Natural Park of Porto Conte, is characterized by crystal-clear sea, breathtaking cliffs and a priceless view. Here, there is also a campsite surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation and a restaurant where you can taste our local products. (Torre del Porticciolo camping and Agriturismo POrticciolo).

The beach of "La Speranza" is located on the coast road to Bosa about 8 km from Alghero. I really like this beach for the color of the sea and the peace. During summer months it is not full with people as the others (except the week of August). There are also two bars with beautiful terraces overlooking the sea and with affordable prices.

The coastal road from Alghero to Capo Caccia is a street full of landscapes and sensational views; goal of worship for the weekend of our people, you can not never get tired to drive there. You can also drink a coffee in the bar located at the entrance of Caves of Neptune at the end of the road.

Rena Majore is my favorite beach in the vicinity of Argentiera. The only semi-desert place in summer and with no services of any kind. This is why I will not reveal the coordinates to reach it! Heh heh! Healthy Sardinian possession towards our solitary beach!

The Mugoni beach, about 20 km from Alghero, has some beautiful and isolated coves! Discovered years ago during the break from work, they are the ideal place for those who want to swim in the open sea where the water is always more blue!

Lazzaretto, about 8 km from Alghero, has a beautiful beach and some small coves. In the picture you can see the Tower of Lazzaretto, famous for an old advertising of pasta Barilla (it's nice to repeat the same news and gossip to boast about our birthplace ... hahaha).

A me piace moltissimo!

Porto Ferro is a very long American-style beach and it is a regular destination for local surfers and not only. I love it! In summer you can also find some alternative music concerts during some weekends.

My city Alghero has an amazing sea. I know, I'm monothematic, but in 2012 I was in Sardinia mainly in the summer and it seemed appropriate to make just those two, three, four, five, six (non-stop) dives.

Il campeggio superiore è molto into the wild e meno frequentato, vi consiglio questo.

During the summer, the inland is bare and desolate and nature is coloured by

beautiful yellowish shades. This is the road that leads to Oschiri, kingdom of panadas, a typical food of this zone. That day there were at least 50 degrees (which is why I recommend you to come here during the warmer months) and we were going to Time in Jazz in Berchidda event of jazz music (especially jazz but not only) organized by the famous Sardinian musician Paolo Fresu. For those who came in August, do not miss it, it lasts about a week and even if you do not want to attend concerts with fee there are many free events and a a great atmosphere. In addition, there are two camps, one near the village and one on top of a mountain, where you can stop for the night. The higher camp is "into the wild" and less frequented: I recommend this. Or if you're young and stalwart, bring a good sleeping bag and you can spend the night on the lawn in front of the camp. I know it is not for everyone, but believe me, it's fun.

Nuoro and Mount Ortobene are the ideal place to relax and have a picnic outdoors. I went there in April. There is nothing better than staying in t-shirt enjoying the first warmth of spring in the middle of nature. In addition, in August takes place the Festival of the Redeemer where you can admire the ancient and beautiful Sardinian costumes.

My Easter Monday saw as a frame the Omodeo Lake, in the province of Oristano. Quiet place surrounded by characteristic plateaus.

Around April, I visited Sedilo, in the province of Oristano and the nuraghe Iloi. That day there was no one there and the view was spectacular. Do not forget to visit places scattered in anything like this because they are the best of the island in my opinion.

My favorite village of Central Sardinia is undoubtedly Orgosolo with its murals. I talked plenty about it during this year, then go to read my old post if you want to know more about it.

Until 2011 my favorite area of the island was the Ogliastra (centre-east); however, this year I discovered the wonderful Sulcis Iglesiente and so now, I'm not so sure about the best place. When in doubt, I'll post photos of Marina di Arbus and its fantastic dunes, where I went this summer in August.

There are no words to describe how wonderfully fantastic is Iglesiente coast. I do not need to tell you "go here, go there, do not miss this place." You have to drive by chance, as we did, everywhere you will go you will find amazing beaches and views and a rich nature surrounded by mountains and roads that wind into nothingness. This is heaven.

Meraviglioso!

I ended with the best image of the year just ended. Pan di Zucchero (sugarloaf), the coolest rock in the world in the coolest natural context of the world!
I got out of the car and I thought, "Wow." Wonderful!

This is just a summary of what I've seen this year, and I hope ito visit many other unknown places of my island in 2013 because there is really so much to see and discover and I never tire of repeating that this is the most beautiful place in the world.

  8. Today, you can log on the worldwide web and almost immediately find a job.
There is no denying the fact that stay at home mom jobs (www.youtube.com) all come
with distractions. ) So when you tell potential employers
you want to work eight hours, they are going to expect A LOT of proof that
    you worked those hours.

  10. When you need information, all you have to do is to sit in front of your computer and type in your
query. High speed internet has brought a lot of opportunities to ordinary people all over the world.
Against this, you will also have fewer expenses when you're working at home because obviously you don't have to commute, buy lunches,
go for a drink after work or by work clothes.
