I state that Cogolo Pejo is a place that already expresses itself so tenderly. Try to pronounce the word Cogolo, beating well the different syllables: Co-go-lo. Not the idea of something very soft and cuddly? (English readers i want your opinion: has this word a good sound for you?). I wish it will be introduced in the dictionary. If you look in these photos at the very cute animals that inhabit the surrounding areas of this village, I'm sure that you desire to fondle their cute noses. Then, I want to introduce them to you: in the first picture there is the master Pino with Beak, a young goat born in mid-November! She's so pretty! When I tried to cuddle her, she started to suck the end of my braid thinking it was a bottle! Instead, you can see the Highlander cows: their noses are very soft. Pino, their master, give them a name as Beethoven and Cindy! Do you like them? I was delighted to visit this farm because I love animals and then I had never had the opportunity to feed the cows Highlander! It was fun because they have a large tongue and when I reached out to give them the bread, I have pretty much wrapped up with their super tongue and they sucked my hands! Probably they also eat my gloves because I don't find them!

Bellino vero?
Finally, he's Lucky, the friendly dog who keeps cows at bay! Nice, isn't he?

This is the landscape around the farm. Beautiful, isn't it? What do you think about this place? I adore it: one of the most beautiful stops on the trip!

  5. Yes, very beautiful! Everything seems so peaceful and quiet and serene, especially when it is blanketed with snow. As for the word "Cogolo?" I'm not a large fan of it, either. It is a slightly awkward word to form; the lips stay the same, but the actual sounds come from very different parts of the throat. And it reminds me of "cold" and "coconut" and "go" and...words that have harsher, distinct sounds. It sounds, to me, like nothing what the place actually is!

  6. Monica: grazie..troppo gentile :))))

Dawn: this is funny; for me is the sweetest word of the world, however for an english reader as you, it is different. Cogolo is similar to cold...it's true..so I believe that the effect of this word is not good as in italian. For us the sound is nice because it reminds me a little dog o animal, something that is tender and sweet :)

  12. Ciao Cogola!
    A presto, baci!
