October is running toward the end and I continue to look for a job here in Tuscany. To be 26 is not easy in this time of crisis. My expectations have been disillusioned by this system; I would like to work in the international cooperation but after some voluntary experience, I have understood that there are few posts for young people and many of them are for volunteers. I don't want to put aside this desire but meantime I have decided to opt for my plan B and look for another type of job. I would like to have a job that allow me to earn something and to set aside a tidy sum. Utopy? Maybe. However, my age doesn't allow me to the fall.

Mannaggia!

I love in the social field; I love to help other people and make my best to improve things. My sensitivity goes toward this direction. However, this is my plan A; I have to remember that now I passed to plan B. Damn!

Meantime, I take comfort by my artistic inspiration (why have I only a feel for poor activities?). I have some projects: my new photographic cards. I realized some of them with my photos of Africa to inform my relatives about my defence in the period of my degree . Besides, here in Lena's blog, you can look at the price of my Give Away. Do you like?

Lettura / Reading

fiori sabato, settembre 10, 2011

This summer I got completely hooked on reading. I always have been a very bad reader. I detested this hobby because I couldn’t focus my attention on what I read; during the reading, I flew with my imagination and for this reason I came to abandon the most part of the books.

Maybe the problem was linked to the fact that during the school period, I was trapped in a thousand and one things to do: school, “studying” but above all my swimming trainings six times a week with a lot of competitions on the weekends. All this commitments limited my time. Furthermore, my agonistic career lasted 12 years, a very long time, and this is why I didn’t read many books during school period.

During university time, exams took all my inspirations out. I was lazy and I studied thousand of hours a day to prepare oncoming exams to get back of the lost time due to my laziness. At the end of this “kamikaze period” I was so tired. So, reading was my last priority I preferred to gain forces in other ways.

This summer I was more relaxed and I had more free time, because I didn’t work for a long time. Then, the dear ViolaChiara, friends with a strong passion for reading, decided to lend me a box full of books, choosen from my favourite titles in her Anobii’s bookshelf.

And… hear ye .. not only I finished the box, but I have started an other box with new books!

I understood that if I choose the right books, suitable for my predilections, the imagination doesn’t fly away, but It is strengthened by reading. For this, I have to say thanks to ViolaChiara, who converted an anti-Christ of reading like me to this passion.

Vi lascio una nuova galleria di fiori. Buon weekend!!!
