Take a sad song and make it better

"Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better".

Novembre, cosa combini?

November, what are you doing? Less than two months at the end of the year and I already want to elect 2012 as the year of bad luck. When I see blacks cats (which are superb and whose legends are just nonsense), they open their eyes to see me with fear and they flee. Fridays 13 and 17 have been replaced with dignity by my name (soon someone will produce the respective horror films titled with my name and something tells me that they will not succeed so as not to deny the bad luck). It's all wrong, so wrong that it becomes almost comical! Among the few nice things of my current life, there are undoubtedly these beautiful breathtaking views of my island (no, I didn't plunged into the sea due to a sudden collapse of the rocks and it is not my ghost who is writing here now). I gave up taking a picture of me sitting on the cliff, because with my uncontrollable luck a sudden earthquake could rage (although Sardinia is anti-seismic) that would make me fall in water with a lot of white sharks (such as those that appear in film) ready to devour me. I'm sure that the shark would spit my bangs because it is so ugly... my current bangs is horrible and I look like a bad little girl with a dead rat on my forehead. That said, in the picture you can see the bay of Porticciolo, about 20 km from Alghero, a really beautiful place where I like to go whenever I'm at home to enjoy the sea in its entirety. For the rest, I look forward to a 2013 full of luck and hopes (and possibly a boundless positivity around me, as it was bad luck during these last months). For this post I only accept joyful comments, encouragement and donations of money.

  5. Beautiful place, as always. I like how you mentioned your ghost. I was wondering, and I had that thought when I first looked at that photo. :) My old Italian instructor (who IS from Italy) is INCREDIBLY supersitious. Whenever something interesting or "bad" happens to me, she options gives me suggestions as to what I can do. I am unfamiliar with them, obviously, but her ideas and her cultural views on what is superstitious and what it is not intrique me. This post reminded me of that.
