"We too, like the flowing water, we are wanderers in search of a sea."
Juan Baladan Gadea

I recently visited the Caribbean, as you know from my last post. Undoubtedly, they are places that have conquered me, and the opportunity to visit different islands is a more unmissable gem! However, I am convinced of one thing. It is nice to travel and discover faraway places around the world, but here, in the Mediterranean, we have locations that have nothing to envy to the Caribbean. Beaches and seas worthy of the best holiday under the sun and in the middle of beauty. The Spanish islands for example, are a good compromise for not straying too far from Italy and at the same time, find a new atmosphere. It was my first long stay abroad in this country, for this reason, Spain has a strong fascination for me, both for her variety of landscapes and for her beautiful language.

We talk of a seaside place where you will hear the call and the gentle sound of Spain: Formentera, called "the Caribbean of the Mediterranean" and will not be hard to imagine why. For the tanning enthusiasts but also for those who, like me, are bored on the towel, there are kilometers of beaches to explore and beautiful backdrops to admire through long swims and snorkeling activities. Moreover, I am a lover of handmade markets and here, some nights a week, many streets are lined with stalls selling handmade jewelry. I am not addicted to shopping but I love to buy objects made by hand, especially earrings (the most quoted gift for me for birthday or Christmas). Walking through the street s among musicians and hippie vibes, I think there is no better place for me that I love this lifestyle and me too, I dedicate myself to handmade creation.

One aspect that conquers me when I have to decide where to stay is the apartment/hotel style in which will spend my stay. I do not like the decor without personality or unbridled luxury and not just because the costs go up dramatically! I think that what characterizes the best accommodation is the choice of the details.

Looking "Hotels in Formentera" and then choosing on the site "Hotel Es Pujols", I came across some lovely images about the Blanco Hotel. When you need to dream, you need to dream in big. I love the decor in white and as the name suggests, the furnishings of this structure follow this shade giving prominence to the surrounding colors. I find it a good choice.

However, the place that has kidnapped my heart was the Hotel Es Marès equipped with wooden furniture that recall the atmosphere of the wild vegetation in many seaside places of the Mediterranean. I have saved several pictures because one day I would create the same atmosphere in my future home. Take a look also at other solutions; I am sure that your eyes will.
